In 1999, while working for the United States Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters at Five-Points in downtown Atlanta, officers of the NRC United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission debriefed me on the Southern Company case which had officially been shutdown in 1992 in the name of National Security. The sudden shutdown came after the murder and assassination of all witnesses including top officials of the Southern Company and the disappearance of the United States Attorney who was handling the federal grand jury case. Is it possible that "The Enterprise" was suppling Iran with WMD materials along with airplane parts in the Iran-Contra hostage exchange?

Israel Connections, Family, L-3 Communications, and the CIA in Florida’s Panhandle

In all probability the U235 bomb material may have been transported from the United States to Far East destinations aboard aircraft owned by the government of Israel and the Ministry of Defense according to Classified and Top Secret documents viewed by this writer in 1992-93 when I was paid under the alias of "John Burris" by United States Customs Criminal Intelligence to work a smuggling case against Tepper Aviation and CAERO, aka Crestview Aerospace.

At the time my case agent was named Tim Edmunson and his boss was Jimmy Spoonybarger both of Pensacola, Florida. Tim wanted to somehow reach out to the national media about the cover-up of high level drugs, guns and arms shipments underway with protection from U.S. Intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

Tepper Aviation, Inc. and Crestview Aerospace Corporation are two Florida Panhandle companies with intertwining paths in ownership, history and management. Both have unique histories and internet articles suggesting Tepper has been heavily involved in CIA activities, Iran-Contra, and adverse cargo initiatives, including rendition flights carrying human prisoners, guns and drugs.

Crestview was founded as a major provider of parts and technology for the manufacture and modification of aircraft. Its list of alliances includes Vought, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed and Bell Helicopter.

Charles E. Shanklin of Puerto Rico has been credited for moving the Crestview company from bankruptcy in its earlier years, while documents suggest Shanklin and Jack Owen were assisted with loans from the government of Israel, Defense Ministry, and a garment labeling company named RoSpatch.

RoSpatch, a fabric labeling company established in the early 1900’s, moved to defense electronics for a period in the early 1980’s when it purchased three companies: Edmac, Guidance Technology, and Oaks Development Labs.

RoSpatch has since taken a new identity, Ameriwood Furniture, with an international business as furniture manufacturer.

Florida records 1995 show Tepper Aviation beginning with Jack Owens, and Dothan, Alabama’s Thomas M. Bledsoe and others as officers. In the same year, among others, Jack E. Owens is listed as an officer for Crestview Aerospace as is Charles E. Shanklin of Puerto Rico, and Charles R. Shanklin of Florida.

As the years passed, trucking-mining and race car investor Bledsoe’s name dropped from the Tepper list in 2001 and Charles R. Shanklin’s was added, with Shanklin holding an interest in both companies. Owens continued through with Tepper and the addition of officer Bobby L. Owens 1997, and finally in 2007, among others, a Montgomery, Alabama name, Jose L. Hernandez, was added.

Throughout the history of the two companies from 1995 onward, three names remain stable from year to year, while others wax and wane, weaving in and out. Constant with Crestview: John Sawyer of Cincinnati and Charles R. Shanklin, until the company was sold, 2006 to L-3. Jack Owens remained stable with Tepper and presently shares a board spot with Tepper’s Charles R. Shanklin, also present President and CEO of the newly named L-3 Crestview Aerospace.

Internet accounts describe Crestview initially as a family-owned company, which in 2006 was sold to L-3 Communications, a firm heavily invested in military industrial ventures and technology.

Sourcewatch site has an ongoing article regarding the activities of Tepper Aviation and it’s involvement with CIA activities and the Iran Contra affair. Its activities have been documented as including Oliver North, Jack Abramoff’s “International Freedom Foundation,” Apartheid, UNITA, and more. The article explains that Florida documents before 1995 of Tepper records and business management histories are unavailable.
